My Pedagogical Approach

In the responsive curriculum and pedagogy course, I was assigned to create documentation based on 10 minutes of observation. I observed the children playing with grass and then, I planned to do an activity named grass painting. The children came to the table and i observed them closely and clicked some pictures of them. I mentioned their developmental domains with the help of pictures in the documentation.

Digging into Colours:
This is the picture of the sensory play that i planned for the children, during my first semester. In this, we delve into the fascinating world of soil colors and loose materials, providing an interactive and educational experience for young children. This sensory play fosters curiosity and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.

Planned experience

This is the planned experience that I done during my third placement with infants. I made this documentation of sensory play along with learning reflections. For this activity, I prepared some sensory bags for infants to feel some textures such as soft, hard, etc.

artifact

I chose this artifact from my previous placement because it shows how dedicated i am to getting the experience and hours i need for the field placement course and become a good educator. I have learned through my experience working with young children. i implement the lesson plans in a fun way they will remember all the activities that we have done together as well as the long  conversations.

This art activity encouraged creativity and fine motor skills as children painted and assembled ladybugs using paper plates. Through this hands-on experience, they explored colors, shapes, and self-expression in a fun and engaging way.
